The Beneteau 2005 Rendezvous to Solomons Island was our first weekend trip in our new 323. On friday morning from our mooring ball at Linstead Beach on Round Bay of the Severn River, we motored into the bay and headed south into 22 knot southerly winds and 4 foot swells. Nearly nine hours later we entered the safe harbour of Solomons and found our reserved marina berth. Our first weekend with many proud and happy Beneteau owners was both exciting as well as relaxing. Thanks to Annaplois Yacht Sales, to Beneteau and all the other participants for a well planned and orchestrated weekend. Our early departure on Sunday morning heading north to Annapolis was as nice a day sail as one could hope for. We are very excited about our future summer sailing aboard our new Beneteau 323.
